Sexual health services are free for those under 22, even if you are not enrolled with our clinic.
Sexual Health Advice
Our approachable team of sexual health experts can support you in all aspects of sexual wellbeing. Furthermore, we value your privacy, and all advice is given in confidence.
Talk to us about our sexual health services. They include contraception options, planning a family, STI (sexually transmitted infections) tests and treatment, or prescriptions for condoms.
Also, we provide sexual health advice and prescriptions. This includes emergency contraception like the morning after pill; and pap smears. Likewise, we provide diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.
When to get an STI Check:
STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) do need treatment. Getting treatment will protect you but also your sexual partners. So, you might need sexual health screening if you experience unusual symptoms. For example:
- Abnormal symptoms on the vagina, penis or anus
- Discomfort whilst urinating or UTIs
- Pain during intercourse
- Genital rashes, inflammation or wounds on or around your genitals
- Itching around genitalia
- Redness or a rash
Don’t hesitate to pop in for a confidential chat if you’ve noticed changes or discomfort. Similarly, if you need advice about STIs, we’re here to help. Rest assured, we know the right treatments to ensure sexual health and body confidence.
Equally important, we can guide you if you are uncertain about sexuality or sexual safety.
Emergency Contraceptive (Morning After ) Pill
- If you’ve had unprotected intercourse, the Emergency Contraceptive Pill is effective if taken within 72 hours (3 days).
- The Morning after Pill should not be considered a regular form of contraception. However, we can suggest better options for family planning.
Also, we can prescribe the Morning after pill in advance if you think you might need it as a precaution to avoid pregnancy.
Call us if you need an urgent appointment. Likewise, you can book on the Patient Portal.
