Minor Accidents
If you’ve had a workplace accident; sports injury; or hurt yourself out and about in the community, come and see us for treatment of minor injuries that have occurred. An ACC injury claim form should be completed so that your accident can be assessed for coverage.
Minor Injury Care and ACC Treatments
ACC has been designed to ensure all accidents that happen to you are covered regardless of their circumstances. Everyone is eligible – even those visiting NZ. Our specialists can tell you if your injury is likely to be covered and help fill out an ACC injury claim form. Please note there will be a co-payment for this subsidised service.
We assess injuries in an Accident Compensation Claim (ACC) consultation. Firstly, we’ll apply dressings to administer wound care. Next we’ll ensure your ACC injury form is submitted for a claim. ACC recognise the importance of good recovery, so it contributes to proportions of treatment costs and extra necessities like home care, transport, and loss of earnings if you need time off work.
We can treat accidental injuries including:
- Wound care – cut, broken or bruised skin
- Insect bites and stings
- Fractures or Sprains
- Scalds or burns
- Sporting injuries
- fatigue and sleep issues
You can claim for ACC regardless of the type of injury. Accident Compensation claims really do take a lot of stress out of coming to an injury and accident clinic.
Physical injuries caused by an accident or abuse can also be covered.
An ACC injury claim form is easy to fill out with our help. We’re happy to make ACC referrals and set up ACC consultations as required.
